This article will walk you through how to edit the properties that are displayed on the left-hand side of an object record.
NOTE: Please keep in mind that HubSpot is notorious for changing / updating this tool. However, even if the below article is "out of date", you'll generally find that everything is still in the same place as before, and works generally the same.
First, go to any object record in HubSpot.
NOTE: You only need to set up your display once for it to apply to each record. However, you will have to set up the displays for contact records, company records, etc. separately. You won't have to set up the display for each individual contact though, for instance.
Once you are in any record of the object in which you'd like to edit the display properties for, navigate to the left side of the page. To the right of where it says "About this contact" there is a gear icon. Click it.
You'll then be brought to a big screen in which you can edit the entirety of the object record. We want to focus on the window that is already open on the right, which will let you edit the displayed information in the screenshot above.
Now, click "add property' and then search for the property you wish to add.
You can also reorder them by clicking and dragging each label by the dots:
Once done, hit save.
Then, at the top-right corner of the screen, hit save and exit:
Now every single record for that particular object will have your new properties displayed, in the order you chose.
