Reviewing IP Syncs

What to look for when reviewing an Integration Pass Sync

When Integration Pass finishes syncing, you are going to receive an email report with a CSV file and a PDF. This article will walk you through what to do with these and how to make the most of the information you are given.

CSV

The CSV file is used to show you all of the data we are able to pull from the API. This will include all of the properties that are coming over during the sync.

The first row will have the field name from UKG. The rows below that will show the company information that is coming over. You can use this to help fix any errors or property values that do not match what is in HubSpot.

PDF

The PDF will have the same name as the connection, allowing you to make sure you understand what this information is for. In the CSV you will find information related to the sync. Created or Updated mean that the appropriate company was either created or updated.

You will want to watch out for the following statuses in the report:

  • There is no value for unique identifier - This appears for contacts and companies that do not have an email address or MasterTax ID.
  • Conflict - This is used for when a contact appears more than once in the same connection. This determination is made based on their email address, which is used as the unique identifier.
  • Bad Request - Some form of error has occurred. You will want to take a deeper look here to see what has gone wrong.

The bottom of the PDF will show you the fields that are coming over from UKG as well as the values we are pulling. This will help you address any errors that might be occurring.

What Next?

Once you have reviewed the connections to make sure they are working, (typically you should have almost all of them in your inbox by the time you show up in the morning), you will want to add to the counter behind Tom's old desk.

Be sure to add this to the daily wins deck once you hit milestone numbers!
